SPARK is a non-profit organisation that focuses on youth empowerment and entrepreneurship in conflict-affected regions. It works to provide young people with access to education, training, and job opportunities, aiming to support economic development and stability in areas affected by conflict and crisis. SPARK’s programmes often involve initiatives related to higher education, vocational training, entrepreneurship support, and advocacy for youth rights and participation.

Fostering sustainable growth through Digital, Green innovation and Agriculture. Hosted in Tunis and in partnership with the European Union and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, IGNITE North Africa explores how to foster economic and sustainable growth in the region.
Join a diverse group of thought-leaders, stakeholders and experts from across the Maghreb, including governments, private sector, investors, entrepreneurs, education institutions and agronomists, in improving the economic opportunities for youth, women and refugees in North Africa.
As an agency, we’ve conceptualised the visual identity and created all communication pieces (online and offline) for IGNITE North Africa 2023, a collaborative event focused on fostering sustainable growth through digital, green innovation, and agriculture.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Invest in women: Accelerate progress,” resonates deeply with SPARK’s mission. For over three decades, they have been dedicated to supporting women’s empowerment by facilitating access to education, internships, job placements, and entrepreneurship opportunities. With a track record of assisting more than 40,000 women, SPARK recognises the transformative power of investing in their potential.
Investing not only in women but in women-led local partner organisations enables SPARK to accelerate women’s participation and impact within entrepreneurial ecosystems across fragile and conflict-affected regions.
The theme of this year’s International Youth Day is ‘Green Skills For Youth: Towards A Sustainable World’. Green skills are the “knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes needed to live in, develop and support a sustainable and resource-efficient society”. Strengthening the green skills of youth living in fragile and conflict-affected regions is at the heart of SPARK’s new Strategy 2030, launched this year.
SPARK contacted us to create the campaign concept and communication for the 2023 International Youth Day, spotlighting six inspiring young entrepreneurs utilising green skills for a more sustainable world.
The SPARK annual report provides comprehensive information on SPARK’s activities throughout the preceding year. Published with the approval of the Supervisory Board and With Accountants registered accountants, the SPARK annual report is testament to the priority we place on transparency and accountability.
